The Norwegian Wood is a perfectly reversible, richly textured cowl knitted seamlessly in Half Fisherman's Rib with the Entrelac technique. Fun to make and cozy to wear, Norwegian Wood makes a perfect Christmas gift!

Use Aran/worsted weight, 100% wool tweed yarn to create a rustic look just like the sample shown, or experiment with wool-silk blends, angora, or silk-mohair fibre to get the result you want. This project is not "gauge critical", and is indeed highly customizable after you become familiar with the construction technique.
