Magnolia is a quilt made with a block pattern of my improvisation. This quilt is also my first original design, too. It is not hard to make at all. You would only need to cut squares and rectangles!
My quilt was made with mostly reproduction fabrics in coordinated scrappy style. Feel free to try you own color scheme and style.
I quilted the sample quilt myself on my Bernina 710. I really like the freeform feathers on the sashing rectangles. They complement nicely with the blocks. That being said, I would love to see different approaches to quilt Magnolia! The possibilities are endless. Don’t limit your imagination!
